On the first floor (in the basement) of the Media Gateway, there are 4 individual team rooms available for use on a drop-in basis. Each room contains a table and chairs and an LCD monitor. 1150 A and B have white boards and 1150 A and C feature built-in laptop connections and a Media:Scape for group collaboration.

These rooms cannot be reserved in advance, and are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. The rooms can be used for up to three hours in length. Groups of 3 or more have priority over the Media Gateway team rooms. Groups of 2 or fewer are required to move if a larger group needs to use the space. Room users are expected to throw all trash away and erase the whiteboards upon completion of use.
