Description: Open to the North Quad working community, this event brought together staff and faculty from the School of Information, Screen Arts & Cultures, NQ Housing, NQ Dining, Communication Studies, Language Resource Center, Global Scholars Program, Max Kade House, Sweetland Center for Writing and NQ Programming. Ice cream was provided by the local favorite Washtenaw Dairy, with fresh flower bundles by Pot & Box. In addition to savoring the delicious ice cream, event attendees chatted, played cornhole, competed in a tongue-twister contest, and participated in an ice-breaker game led by North Quad Housing’s Ben Rosebrock. AV features included a Flikr stream of ice cream images on the LCD monitors, a looped video of Death & Life of Ice Cream on the north and south overhead projectors, and a mouth-watering list of Washtenaw Dairy’s ice cream flavors on the digital ticker.
