Description: The Middle East and Arab Network (MEdAN) seeks to foster and sustain a sense of community and solidarity among Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African students, as well as between the different communities throughout the university. In this community dinner, attendees listen to Dr. Fatma Müge Göçek speak about the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and enjoy a night of free food. Professor Gocek is a professor of sociology and women’s studies whose research focuses on the comparative analysis of history, politics and gender in the first and third worlds.
